After earning an MBA from Stanford, Nicole spent eight years on the equity salesand research at Morgan Stanley. There, she worked on the IPOs for companieslike Facebook, Groupon, and Pandora, which inspired her to become an angelinvestor and, later, a startup cofounder herself. She began working with brandsin the mid 2000s, specializing in consumer behavior; the retail landscape, both inthe US and Europe; and taking brands to the public market.

Before founding Pencil, he was with Facebook for 7 years, the last of which he was the International Marketing Director , reporting to CMO, led 100+ strong Marketing & Events team across 10+ office.

The Facilitators

The Silicon Valley Scale programmes will be facilitated by FutureX co-founders Bruce Walker and Zoi Kantounatou. FutureX have worked with thousands of entrepreneurs and directly supported 32 tech for good companies who have since raised over £60 Million in investment. Zoi and Bruce are experienced facilitators from running international leadership programmes in Edinburgh, London Berlin and of course Silicon Valley.

Zoi has worked with purpose driven entrepreneurs across the world running international programmes on personal development and leadership for the last 9 years. Over this time, she ran programmes in Scotland, India, Greece and Silicon Valley, working with more than 1000 entrepreneurs. In 2017, she co-founded FutureX with a mission to enable more purpose-driven businesses. Zoi is a trained facilitator and coach and she has extensive experience in running workshops and programmes.
