FutureX wins DataFest contract

Following the huge success of the inaugural DataFest in March 2017, we are thrilled to have secured the contract with The Data Lab to deliver the festival again in 2018. Taking place over five days, from 19th - 23rd March next year, DataFest aims to secure Scotland's place as “epicentre of international data-driven problem solving”. Under the banner of #DataChangesEverything, the 2018 festival is going to build on the collaboration of varied skills, specialities and sectors to drive innovation in all things data.

Over 2000 people took part in the inaugural DataFest in 2017 which included speakers like former chief scientist at Bitly and founder of Fast Forward Labs, Hilary Mason, and Marc Priestly, former McLaren F1 pit stop crew and expert in British racing technology. DataFest18 will bring another incredible line up of speakers to Scotland, with the return of Dr Hannah Fry, the BBC’s Joy of Data presenter and University College London researcher already confirmed, with many more to come.
We're delighted to have won the contract to deliver the festival over the next two years, allowing us to use our extensive experience of international event and programme delivery to contribute to the continued growth and success of DataFest.
